NLG, F&G, Royal Neighbors, & Athene

In order to get contracted with NLG, F&G, Royal Neighbors (RN) & Athene there are a few important details new agents should know:

1. Two trainings are required if an agent wants to get contracted with these carriers. The annuity & IUL trainings under training camp on Gateway
You can get to Gateway a few different ways but here is how to locate these 2 trainings:
• Log into HCMS account. In the top right-hand corner there is an icon that looks like a group of squares. Click that icon.
• Then click Gateway. A new webpage will probably be loaded for Gateway.
• On the left-hand side of the page (the tabs/navigation bar), click trainings camp. The IUL & Annuity trainings will be on that page.
2. After completing the IUL & Annuity training reach out to your admin (Allie) and your admin will need to email corporate to request contracting for the 4 carriers listed above.
• Corporate will then send a contracting link that will need to be signed and submitted through Surancebay

Ethos

Ethos contracting is different from other insurance carriers & the process can be slightly confusing.

• With Ethos, every agent automatically has a profile and the ability to contract with them.
• Ethos creates agent portals automatically after receiving bi-weekly reports of new agents. Please allow 6-8 weeks from onboarding into HCMS for this portal to be created.

After the 6-8 week period agents need to create/sign into their profile using the link below.

• DO NOT CLICK SIGN UP (this will put you direct to Ethos which is not what we want)
If an agent runs into the situation where they did SIGN UP, they will need to notify their admin.
• After accessing the Ethos links agents will need to login using number or email
• Once that is taken care of, Ethos is notified and agents should receive a welcome email

If you receive an error after attempting to log-in using your number or email please notify your admin. Ethos - IUL/Ameritas, Banner Life
If an agent is needing to access/utilize Ethos’s Ameritas/IUL, Banner Life products check the following:

• First check through your dashboard to see if Ameritas/IUL is available for you to quote or start and application for a client
• If you do not have the quoting or application available, log into your NLC account and submit a contracting request for ETHOS.
• Agents will then sign and submit the contract in surancebay.
• Once that is approved, agents can use the same Ethos link to login (https://agents.ethoslife.com/login) and the Ameritas/IUL product should be available.
